"College Dropout"

Ive been Jockin Kanye West ever since Scarface's "Guess Who's Back." Tracks on da album like "We Don't Care" where has 7 yr olds glorifying drugdealing in a R. Kelly "Gotham City" chorus fashion, and the irresistably-catchy "Spaceship" featuring G.L.C. and Consequence (my favorite track on da album, no contest) make the album a Hip Hop classic. In fact, every song is BANGIN. Kanye is even a decent lyricist. When he's not spittin witty punchlines, he gets real conscious and deep wit his shit like in "Jesus Walks," although I alwayz skip over dat track (even da worst songs on da cd r tite). Since Kanye has been hookin artists up wit phat beats including Jay-Z, Talib Kweli, Ludacris and Freeway, they hadta return da favor, so they all on da album, one way or another Weird thing is Kanye actually holds his own wit such heavyweights, almost effortless, but in a way he's in a different league then all those other fools- they spit about completely different shit. Now, da only thing I could complain bout dis CD is dat Kanye worked too hard on it. Everybody knos da story bout Kanye's car accident and him rapping on "Throught the Wire" wit his jaw wired shut, but how many of yall kno how many bootlegs exist of his debut LP "College Dropout?" Atleast 2, count em, 2 bootlegs exist. So when I heard the final version of "Two Words" featuring Mos Def and Freeway, I actually liked da bootleg version I heard b4. He added way too many chords and all dis other shit dat I wuz like "FUCK, JUST END DA SONG ALREADY! Same wit "Never Let You Down" wit Jay-Z. Will someone PLEASE tell me WTF did he add fuckin Congo drums to da end of dat track? Kanye doesnt kno howta end a fuckin song, and dat shows how conceited he really is, much more than da "Last Call" track where he spends an extra 10 minutes talkin bout his rise to da top (really, he talks for 10 minutes straight. Da track is like 13 minutes! Dude's more full of himself than Diana Ross). Neway, for da $9.99 I paid 4 da CD, I havta give da CD a 9 out of 10, but dont expect me to be reviewin ne more CDs ne time soon, cuz ever since Pirates invented piracy in 1720, I dont BUY CDs as much as I usta b4 I got broadband. Peace
